Military manufacturing enterprise is an important part of national defense, defending nationalsovereignty, promoting the related industry and playing an important role in economic development,etc. Compared with the general manufacturing industry, military industry manufacture’scharacteristic of the production characteristics of mixed production line, making militarymanufacturing enterprises must balance stability trial products and the changing of the products.With the economic globalization, changing market demand, and the development of science andtechnology, most manufacturing enterprises gradually transform from the traditional productionpattern of few varieties and large quantities to the variety of variable mass production mode. Thisgives military manufacturing enterprise with the characteristics of mixed production line a moreserious test. As an important part of the production, good facilities layout in the workshopsproduction operation can keep good flexible, fast response, and less consumption. Facilities layoutproblem constantly changes with the updating of manufacturing theory. Many kinds of variablemass production model considering multiple stages of production mode, stage equipment to meetthe need of production between refactoring. Most of existing research are static or single objectiveequipment layout, so it is obvious that they can’t meet the needs of the development of equipmentlayout. Aiming at mechanical processing workshop equipment layout of northwest industrial groupas the research object, the analysis of military manufacturing many kinds of the characteristics ofthe variable mass production mode, the establishment of a fuse workshop dynamic equipmentlayout model, and applies the improved non dominated sorting genetic algorithm (NSGA-Ⅱ)analysis and solve the problems of the layout of a workshop.In this paper, the main work includes the following aspects:First, this paper summarizes the current research status of multi-objective dynamic equipmentlayout problems and the research train of thought, the analysis of military manufacturing manyvarieties, the characteristics of the variable mass production manufacturing mode, and the concept,principle and characteristics of workshop equipment layout problems made in detail;Second, the study in this paper, the multi-objective dynamic characteristics of equipmentlayout problems, according to the principle of a certain goal, its layout constraints such as do thedetailed analysis, and presents a mathematical model suitable for this topic of the workshop layout.Third, the paper analyzes the basic non dominated sorting genetic algorithm’s basic principleand process, designed the multi-objective dynamic device is suitable for the layout model to solvethe problem of the improvement of the dominant genetic algorithm, and has made the detailed operation flow of the algorithm.Fourth, this paper used the application example to verify the above content of multi-objectivedynamic device layout mathematical model and the algorithm. It analyzed the northwest industrygroup fuse processing workshop production logistics information, etc. Based on the characteristicsof the workshop and the known information, the design parameters of the improved the NSGA-Ⅱalgorithm, using Matlab R1009b programming, to solve the layout problem, ending up withmultiple equipment layout plan; At last, it used the Delmia/Quest simulation software to analyzealternatives, and finally proves the feasibility and effectiveness of the mathematical model andalgorithm.
