With the develepment of chinese road transport, large four track engineeringmachinery(Milling machine、Cement concrete paver and so on) has been extensively used.The two track machinery has many kinds and large number，and the function of the machinehas been well-known.But the four track machinery do not have many kinds and largenumber.Nobody do completely reserch on the function of four track machinery.In order to further improve the four track engineering mechanical performance andreliability， ensure four track machinery productivity and work quality.So we put forward theoverall research on chassis of four track machinery.Based on the milling machine and cement concrete paver， summarizeing the commonpoints of four track chassis and different points. For different point, analyze and compare theiradvantages and disadvantages.Analyze the overall design and dynamics of four track chassis; Summarize the walkinghydraulic system principle;Introduce the mechanical steering principle of four track chassis;Reserch on the automatic leveling system on chassis of four track machinery.
