Rapid urbanization in China today, tens of thousands of people in to the city c enter, aging is in evitable in today’ s society th e course of developm ent of the practical problems intensified in such a developm ent background. W ith the rapid econom ic development, improve the quality of life of re sidents, the pension of the elderly is also an urgent need to improve the current level of older people desire to live is "alive" and "live well" distinction, better pension environment is China asp irations of millions of older people, but also the needs of the times.After 1999, China started to en ter the "silver age", accounting for about one-fifth of world proportions, becoming the world’s most populous country aging. After the sixth census, China’s population over 60 years m ore than 170 million people, accounting for more than 13% of the population. Will enter a period o f rapid gro wth after 2 014, resulting in the family pension fewer and fewer resources available, key members of the heavier burden on families, become negativ e factors af fecting social progress and human survival, is expected to 2040, China’s population aged 65 and over is expected to 20% more than the total proportion. T oday’s society is facing a num ber of problems of aging, including the proportion of the elderly population increases rapidly, the miniaturization trend of urban fa mily structure, the traditional pension m odel by t he challenge of the new pension m odel. In the national "five" plan clearly stated, "to build home-based, community-based, organizations for the support of social pension service system" and create a new pension m odel with Chinese characteristics. T oday, the emergence of a lar ge number of domestic pension facility types, such as classes and community building, and relate d facilities and the constr uction category, and tourism facilities or commercial real estate class in co njunction with th e international brand standards, etc., to enrich the community endowment made a positive exploration, but still not perfect, there are still m any problems. Many cities on hom e care and community benefit pension and other ways to try to enrich the comm unity to make a positive exploration pension, but co nstruction practice, facilities construction is still lagging behind, pension facilities design pattern is still not perfect, there are still m any problems.Thesis in the con text of aging resear ch endowment comprehensive approach to community design issues, mainly divided into four parts of six chapters elaborate on the topic:The first part is the f irst chapter. The first chapter is basic research, starting with the national conditions of China’ s aging backgr ound reports, as an indication of de mand pension age of the building. After research on the scope, dynam ic content and other methods discussed aspects unfold, do theoretical groundwork for the later.The second part is the second chapter. The second chapter of the dynam ics of domestic and foreign pension comm unity, summarized the three m ajor types of contemporary retirement community and fo r different types of refinem ent were discussed, advantages and disadvantages, to explore the developm ent needs of contemporary retirement community, suggesting that com prehensive pension community as a new pension mode urbanization competitiveness.The third part is Chapter III and Chapter IV of this section is the core section of this article. By the third chapter of the integrated community model of elite pension abroad, summed up the advantages and disadvantages of this m odel in vario us cases, a nd summarized, siting, planning a nd design, architectural desi gn, service facilities and other aspects of design, from planning forming a chapter retirement community design methods and strategies. Chapters III and IV, respectively, for the practice of research and research methods, the two com plement each other, co-directed the fifth chapter of design practice.The fourth part is Chapter V Chapter VI. The fifth chapter of its own participation in the Lok Park retirem ent community design, will return to the prac tice of research and application guidance. The sixth chapter is the conclusion, for the full text of this section presents conclusions on the p rospects for comprehensive retirem ent community is forecasted to further explore th e value of research, and strive to provide a us eful theoretical attempts to build a practice in related fields.
