The Shipbuilding Industry is one of the important symbol to measure a country’seconomy and the technical strength, there is tremendous gap of shipbuilding technologybetween China and the advanced shipbuilding countries, how to improve shipbuildingproductivity has become a key problem that must be addressed if our country want to be aadvanced shipbuilding country. There are a lot of factors that affect a lot of shipbuildingproductivity. During hull blocks production process, the production scheduling of thefeasibility and timeliness of poor is one of the important reasons that affect the efficiency ofship construction.In this paper, the research object is the hull blocks production workshop, according tothe original ship building production mode, introducing a workflow scheduling systemwhich is based on manufacturing grid to achieve production scheduling process of hull. Itaims to strengthen the relationship between each department from planning to production,so make the information of resource transparency in order to prevent the manufacturingcycle variable-length which caused by the production is not controlled by the plan. In theend, it use the advantages of grid computing to solve a series of complex shipbuildingproblem of task allocation and scheduling. There are several research emphases in severalways of this paper:1) In order to solve the problems such as the low productivity, the difficult of jobcontrol, timeless of workshop scheduling in ship building construction, this paper constructa scheduling model of workflow which based on manufacturing grid. It analyzed the processflow of ship block workshop, and take the advantage of DAG to construct themanufacturing process model. This model is based on two Qos constraints of the cost anddeadline to described the shop scheduling optimization problem, and developed the orderexecution of the manufacturing task.2) Combining with the characteristics of grid workflow scheduling and shopscheduling problems proposed an improved adaptive genetic algorithm which based on Qosconstraints. Firstly, in order to avoid algorithm appear convergence stagnation, the chaosmechanism is used to combine with genetic algorithms. Then Put forward the concept oflinear combination of time and budget, so that the objective function is transformed into afitness function. Finally, dynamically adjust the probability of mutation. The results show that the improved algorithm can effectively make up for the defects of the traditional geneticalgorithm, and it has more realistic significance.3) Finally, using the Matlab language tools to simulate an actual grid workflowscheduling problem which on balanced workflow, and the analysis of the experimentalresults prove that the designed chaos genetic algorithm is effectiveness and practicality.The workflow scheduling system based on manufacturing grid can effectively improvethe ship production efficiency, reduce production costs, shorten the construction period,which has important practical significance for our country shipbuilding industry to achievethe change from large to strong. For production of precision instruments, chemical industry,pharmacy and other large, heavy-duty product’s manufacturing process, it also has areferential significance, and has a good application prospect.
