Gas turbine is widely used in the warship due to its excellent dynamic performance,which has many advantages such as high output power, high economic performance andflexible configuration mode. It has been a new subject to study the dynamic performance ofgas turbine. Due to the high cost and high resource consumption in the study of dynamicperformance of gas turbine using the way of physics experiment, it has been significant tobuild a large simulation system of gas turbine for the research of propulsive character ofwarship which use gas turbine as power plant.The main task of this paper is the dynamic performance simulation of the gas turbine’stest system in different working conditions, which provide frame design, selection, set upand running prediction and control decision basis for physical test of gas turbine’s testsystem. The necessary key test data at the same time is provided for test research. Throughthe analysis of ship power plant configuration and comprehension of the test systemcharacteristics, the gas turbine’s test system is divided by function module. Then, thesimulation models of gas turbine and controller are established in Simulink. The simulationof SSS clutch, gear box, propulsion system and hull are established in AMESim. By theestablishment process of the SSS clutch simulation model, SSS clutch mathematical modelis done with the characteristics of the software AMESim. Based on it, it’s more convenientto research the dynamic nature of SSS clutch. SSS clutch middleware displacement isdiscussed in different specific speed and hydraulic damping force. Meanwhile, thesimulation model of each do the simulation test.Base on it, each simulation model are usedto assemble into a complete gas turbine’s test system. At the last, the paper make apreliminary research about steady-state of one engine and one screw, paralleling process andsplitting process of two engines and one screw, paralleling process of four engines and twoscrews. Gas turbine output power and propeller thrust resistance change curve are got in theresearches, and make analysis of them.The correct working of Matlab/Simulink and AMESim is premised by the correctconfiguration of interface parameters during the process of united simulation betweenMatlab/Simulink and AMESim. In this article, the detailed procedure and scheme ofconfiguration has been given, which has been tested as the correct one, relying on which theunited simulation can be carried on. At the same time, the controlling scheme of double machines with single oar and four machines with double oars has been designed and studiedelementarily.
