With the continuous promotion and application of the UAV,the UAV system has been developingin the world,within which the monitoring and control system as an important part of the UAV systemis required a higher level.As the core part of system,the software is used to monitor and control theUAV’s flghting status.So the completed function is the foundation and reliable guarantee for the UAVcompleting the mission successfully.The current software’s deficiencies are summarized through analysing the development andcurrent situation of the software and combining with the existing research foundation.According tothe actual needs and goals of the research group,it designs the overall architecture of the systemoptimally,which builds a fully functional software’s research programs by using the technology ofcommunction,database,GIS,route planning.Firstly,it has a research on the communication interfacetechnology,designing serial communication protocol,proposing the use of third-party serialcommunication method for real-time data transmission.In the management of data,using ODBCtechnology to access the database improves the original text file storage method,which increases thetelemetry data security and quering efficiency.Secondly,it has a deep research on the GIStechnology,MapX and Google Earth are used to develop the GIS.All the2D digital map navigationfunctions are realized by using the method of MapX integrated secondary development.All thefunctions of Google Earth3D view are achieved by combining both of the Google Earth COM APIand KML technology.Thirdly,it has a research on the route planning algorithm,which adopting the A~*algorithm to achieve the UAV’s2D offline route planning.The basic A~*algorithm has beenimprovably designed by the flight path cost function,the track node expansion principle and threatenquantitative calculation,and the research results of the improved A~*algorithm and the basic A~*algorithm are analysed.Finally,the function is system integrated by using the codejock softwareprogramming techniques.The software is joined in the real-time UAV semi-physical simulation system and all of functionsand indicators are tested.Through the comprehensive simulation of software includinghuman-machine interface,communication,data processing,2D digital map,3D view and the improvedroute planning algorithm etc.,the results show that software meets the design goal and achieves thedesired effect.
