Ground traction is of great importance for aircraft station safeguard. In the process of aircraftground traction, due to the inevitably larger traction load deriving from operating environment, humanfactors or emergencies, an accident will occur if the load exceeds structural restraints of the aircraft orother equipment related components.Taking the rod traction mode for example, in order to guaranteethe security of the traction system, the method of installing shear pins is generally utilized as well assome other methods.However,which can not completely eliminate all the potential uncertainty, thusaccidents occur occasionally.In view of this, basing on the virtual prototype,paper took Boeing737-800as the reference model,carried on simulation analysis for aircraft ground traction process and main work of this research is asfollows:1. Based on multi-body dynamics theory, builded the “aircraft-drawbar-tractor” systemdynamics model by Catia and Adams software;2. More comprehensively completed the aircraft ground traction load analysis in a variety ofoperating conditions for the traction system,including special pavement、different tractionspeed、brake well as aircraft-tractor tonnage matching factors, which impact on theimportant components of the traction load and landing gear.This research provides a reference benchmark for the aircraft traction operation in the specialcondition as well as the various nonlinear factors study of the non-steady state can provide a usefulreference for the further revision of the relevant standards and specification.
