In the project of network schedule, CPM technology can effectively solve theproblem of resource-constrained scheduling optimization when the duration of workand working logical relationships are determined, but due to the influence of variousfactors in the practical work, the duration of work and working logical relationships areuncertain. The traditional method based on CPM technique is difficult to solve thisproblem. GERTS as a random network technology is limited to solve the total durationand completion probability problem in the duration of work and working logicalrelationships uncertainty situations, it cannot solve problem of limited resourcesoptimization. Therefore, this paper discusses how to solve resources limited scheduleoptimization in the uncertain the duration of work and working logical relationships,which has important theoretical significance and practical application value. Based onthis, this paper presents research critical chain’s resource optimization based on GERTS.This paper,by analyzing the CPM technology and GERTS technology in resourcelimited schedule optimization problems,puts forward a critical chain technologyapplied to GERTS schedule, to solve resources limited schedule optimization problemin the uncertain the duration of work and working logical relationships. The idea thatthe working logical relationships and limited resources in the critical chain techniquesare at the same time as the decision variable is used in the arrangements for the GERTSscheduling, and the optimized schedule is monitored by the buffer of critical chain. Inorder to combining the critical chain technology and GERTS to solve the problem oflimited resources, first of all, it is necessary to determine the probability distribution andparameters of each working duration in GERTS network, and proposed the influencingfactors simulation estimation method;Secondly, using the classification standard deviation method eliminates safety time contained in each process; Thirdly, identify thecritical chain in a single resource constraints GERTS, and set the buffer afteridentification; Fourthly, to carry out monitoring of limited resource schedule, building abuffer judgment matrix analyzes whether there is any deviation in the actual progress, toanalyze the causes of deviation and make adjustments; Finally, critical chain’s resourceoptimization based on the GERTS method is applied to practical engineering.This paper presents a new resource-constrained scheduling optimization methodwhen the duration of work and working logical relationships are uncertain. It does notonly effectively solve practical engineering problems and enrich the existing resourceoptimization method, but also provides direction for the research of the critical chain.
