With the continuous increasing of traffic and heavy vehicle ratio, many diseasesincluding rutting, crack, subsidence and other forms appear before the service life of asphaltpavement which affects the road using function seriously. Accordingly, the modified asphaltpavement has used widely in many highways which instead of the traditional ordinary asphaltpavement, and it achieves good application effect. However, there is lack of domesticsystematic standard on the modification matching relation and effectiveness evaluation.Unreasonable modification design may result in the increase of construction cost, but the roadindex cannot meet the requirement. Therefore, it is of great practical importance to researchthe modification matching relation of asphalt pavement.The paper proves the reasonableness of recommended modified program throughevaluating the high-temperature performance, pavement life and technique economics. Themain research contents:(1) Based on the comprehensive investigation of modified asphaltmixture pavement performance of project application and laboratory experiment, combinedwith the analysis of current specification, the modified asphalt mixture performance gradingstandard was put forward.(2) Through the establishment of the finite element model, themechanical response of surface-layer structure in the condition of different influence factorswas analyzed deeply, and the pavement work status grading standard based on multiplefactors was proposed.(3) According to the research on climate division of Hebei province, thestress range of different work status was analyzed systematically, and the asphalt pavementmaterials and structure program matched with every work status was recommended.(4) Byanalyzing and improving the current rutting experiment, combined with the rutting predictmodel based on the theory of layer-temperature, the high temperature anti-ruttingperformance of recommend program was evaluated.(5) The form and cause of disease wasanalyzed through the investigation of typical asphalt pavement service condition in Hebeiprovince; the life prediction model based on viscous-elasticity theory was established, and thepavement life with different work status was predicted and evaluated.(6) The cost of asphaltpavement surface-layer structure was analyzed, and the life-circle cost model was established;the technique economics of initial construction cost, daily maintenance cost, the overhaul-repair cost, and the pavement life-circle cost were evaluated respectively with theindex of annual-cost.
