Fin is one of the key components of micro-channel heat exchanger,itsheight,width,pitch and windows angle all have great impact on the heat exchange of thefin.The efficient micro-channel heat exchanger fin machine is the special equipment usedfor the forming process of making the aluminum foil coll to the wavy fin with shutterswhich used in the automotive heat exchanger,the fin machine’s performance directly affectsthe fin quality.This paper is mainly focused on the structural design and control strategy ofthe micro-channel heat exchanger fin machine based on the analysis of the latest researchand application of fin machine both at home and abroad.The following aspects are included,such as the introduction of fin forming process,theselection of varies design schemes in fin machine,the concrete design of eachmodule,strength and mode analysis of certain component,main control strategy of themachine.First of all,introduced the basic principles and process characteristics of the finforming process.Compared the aluminum foil unwinding programs,cutting programs and cutprograms.Made the overall design of the mechanical structure and related calculation.Secondly,checked the strength of the fin machine tool axis based on the ANSYSsoftware in order to ensure the strength and rigidity.And the modals of vibration of the toolaxis and cut-off rest are analyzed to avoid the vibration source frequency and eliminate thevibration impact on the machining process.At last,discussed the control strategy of aluminum foil unwinding tension controlmodule and the feed speed control module which ensured the accuracy and reliability of thefin machine and provided a guarantee for processing high-quality fins.At the same time,thiswill be sure to provide a reference for the design and development of domesitic similarmechanical equipment.
