With the rapid development of globalization of economic activities, especially in theinformation technology, the Internet and other high-tech support, the aviation logisticsindustry by virtue of its safety, quick, convenient service and the supply chain logisticstransport, in the important position gradually attracted people’s attention. The aviationlogistics has great potential for development in China’s economy.This paper starts from the aviation logistics and strategic management theory, reliedon Potter’s competitive strategy theory as the foundation through practical investigation,using comparative analysis, environmental analysis with the tool of strategicmanagement, construction of Tianjin COSCO aviation logistics business competitivestrategy. The paper mainly includes the following contents: introduces the researchbackground and research ideas and methods, the main framework of the paper. And thenexpounds the theoretical development of the aviation logistics and competitive strategy.Using PEST analysis method, carries on the analysis to the Tianjin COSCO externalenvironment. Using the five forces model to analyze the enterprise environment, thethreat of potential entrants, threat of substitutes, suppliers, buyers for a supply ofsomething. the ability for a supply of something. and the competition within the industry;and the internal environment analysis of Tianjin ocean shipping company. Methodfollowed by SWOT analysis, the internal advantages, Tianjin COSCO weaknesses,opportunities, threats analysis; as well as the development strategy of the parent companyof the COSCO Group as the basis, put forward the implementation of the competitivestrategy of the construction and strategy.
