With the increasing pace of our country’s modernization construction,the demand ofdifferent types of loading and unloading machine become more and more.The application ofsmall handing machinery in all kinds of warehouse accout for an increasingly largecomponent for high efficiency and economic performance. Over the past few years, thewarehouse storaged mass received goods which was larger operations, longer length and needto tilt angle place in the loading period. Loading and unloading rely mainly on human andsimple tools,because there is no suitable equipment which can obliquely unload and stackthose goods,so the workers’labor intensity is high and the operation efficiency is low.The newsmall forklift which is being research can solve those problems.This paper analyzed the technology status at home and abroad small forklift, on the basisof the actual research storage condition, put forward the forklift operation requirements,performance requirements, and finally puts forward the overall design scheme of the smalluniversal driving forklift, in accordance with the design of the structure and principle of themain. And completed the design of the shape, the stability of a design, hydraulic systemdesign, the design and calculation of transmission analysis, finally through a lot of tests wereconducted on the basic performance test on the prototype,200hour reliability test, EMC testof static electricity, field experiment. The test results show that the product design to achievethe expected goal, capable of handling the elongate member and oblique split, palletizingoperation in narrow space.
