Research On The Evaluation Model Of EPC General Contracting Mode Of Highway Engineering

The EPC general contract mode is a mode of construction design, procurement,construction and integration, is the more advanced construction project contract mode,this mode has been widely used in highway engineering. In recent years, research on theEPC general contract mode mainly undertake in how the contractor construction and theowner and contractor risk, evaluation model for concrete in highway engineering EPCgeneral contract not so much. Therefore, this paper attempts to establish a fair, scientific,operable evaluation index system, and by means of mathematical model of effective,feasible to help owners or evaluation mechanism for the evaluation of tenders.Firstly, the paper analyses the present situation of the EPC general contractingmodel, evaluation theory, as the two theory as the foundation, elaborated the EPCgeneral contract mode of contractor prequalification phase construction ability, analysisof the comprehensive evaluation method of the evaluation process to the EPC generalcontracting mode of highway engineering, provides theoretical foundation forestablishing the evaluation model.Secondly, the departure from the three aspects of business elements, technicalelements, elements of management and combined with the characteristics of highwayengineering to establish a set of evaluation index system, the evaluation index system ofthis, each evaluation indicators have two indicators corresponding with the explanationon the line, making the structure index system establishment of rigorous, feasible. Theentropy method and grey correlation model is introduced into the evaluation process ofthe EPC general contracting mode of highway engineering, the weight of each index isdetermined by the method of entropy; grey correlation evaluation model construction,will be the ideal contractors bidding units and the owners required by correlationanalysis, the final selection of optimal bidding unit.Finally, through the concrete example verified the grey correlation evaluationmodel based on entropy is correct, and that has high feasibility and effectiveness of thismodel in the process of highway engineering under the mode of EPC general contract.
