As the increasing development of national economy and enhancing standard ofliving, the higher requirement of electricity supple is as ked by citizens, especially inquality and supply reliability. High speed of urbanization and industrialization arisesseries problems in electric power industry, such as how to find a quite fix forreasonable distribution layout when it encountering city transforming. Ma king powersupply become reliable, meeting the short-term and long-term requirements of allkinds of residential area, which would be new topics for government plannin gdepartments and power suppliers.At the beginning of this paper, it introduces the overview of the southern base ofChina Mobile.This brief description shows the development program details andrestriction factors of the base, moreover, it also lays a go od foundation for furtherdevelopment. This paper indicates objective and reasonable analysis of the status topoint out the extravagant cost due to many repeated investment. Based on electricityconsuming data of the first-stage project, the load situation and distribution planshave been classified reasonably. The result helps to predict the power consumption ofthe second-stage project by using the load density index method, in addition, it raisesand discusses out three stages of load prediction which divided to high, medium andlow schemes.Key factors which influencing the power quality of the state have beenlisted and suitable solutions against these problems have also been presented. Thepaper distinguishs high and low pressure oil machine, gives out these two machine’sadvantages and disadvantages when it would used in the state power supply. Afterabove data analysis, there comes a result that future load of the base will be fargreater the its100kV substation capacity. Therefore, schemes about exp andingsubstation capacity, importing commercial power and constructing new station havebeen discussed and compared. An appropriate connecting mode and reasonableconfiguration of transformers have been chosen for10kV power distribution system inthe end of the paper to ensure the appropriate operation in the futureCombining with the researching steps, this paper discussed the process andmethods of power distribution network planning for China Mobile base in south area.Meeting the short-term and long-term demands of power supply reliability.
