However, In the productionand construction process of Hot Mix Asphalt, not only a large amount of energy are consumed, at the same time, a lot of harmful exhaust gas and dust which pollute the environment are released. So, seriously affecting the quality and health of construction workers surroundings.Warm Mix Asphalt(WMA) is a new asphaltwhich is energy conservation and environment-friendly. Of which the mixing temperature is between Hot Mix Asphalt (150℃～180℃) and Cold Mix Asphalt (10℃～40℃), and performance up to (or near) Hot Mix Asphalt. Warm Mix Asphalt preparation of the mixture is to take certain measures to reduce the viscosity of the asphalt, allowing it to at relatively low temperatures withmixing and compaction, and at the same time ensure that its use performance not less than hot mix of asphalt mixture.In this paper, he already existing warm mix technology to do a thorough research and analysis, combined with Heavy Maintenance Engineering of Rilan Highway actual situation, the surface active agent based Warm Mix Asphalt, asphalt mixture performance and Warm Mix Asphalt production construction impacts three aspects pilot study. Evaluated and summarized based on the data for Warm Mix Asphalt technology Heavy Maintenance Engineering of Rilan Highway.Research shows that:mixing surfactant type warm mix agent can effectively reduce the high temperature viscosity of SBS modified bitumen, making it mixture mixing and molding temperature decreases, while relatively warm mix asphalt improves the rutting resistance, through the test analysis, in the warm mix of SBS modified asphalt mixture production temperature decreases25℃, water stability of asphalt mixture with low temperature performance specifications are met, good road performance. Through actual production found that different mixing ratio of warm mix asphalt mixture mixing process is different, such as SMA type warm mix asphalt production over Cheng Zhongyi a "slag first addition" for mixing and "dry" process for warm mix agent added, proper warm mix agent added technology allows agents in warm mix asphalt production and construction play a better role.
