The design methods of the traditional rural housing are relatively simple, most of themare short of scientific layouts and theories, and they are only designed by virtue ofconstruction experience and the traditional culture. The traditional housing construction aremost self-self-built, and the layouts of them are random, the living environment is poor.They lack the design and construction of infrastructure and are only designed to meet thebasic living requirements, at the same time, the energy consumption is serious, and theutilization of resources is low, which bring some difficulties to the development of thecountryside.In this paper, the research status and development of the resource recycling technology isfirst introduced on the basis of the research data, and a comprehensive introduction ofresources is given from the aspects of characteristics, classifications, use patterns, purposesand requirements. Meanwhile, the definition of the resource recycling technology isintroduced, energy-saving technology of doors and windows, energy-saving technology ofwalls, and the technology of solar heating and rain water collection which are closely relatedto the design of rural housing are selected and discussed in detail. Feasibility of theapplication in the design of rural housing is also pointed out.Then the application of the resource recycling technology in the design of rural housingis selected as the starting point, and the use situation of resources in the housing constructionand reformed process is discussed, in which the phenomenon of few species of naturalresource, irrational use patterns, construction waste thrown away and lower recyclingutilization is existed. In addition, the design form of the housing design is not unified, most ofthem are designed based on their own needs which brings significant limitations to the overallplanning of rural housing. In this paper, according to the project participated in the school andthe specific circumstances of the rural areas, the design methods and design forms areproposed from the aspects of energy-saving of doors and windows, wall insulation, solarenergy utilization, rainwater harvesting based on the recycling technology, and some of themare given certain design graphics for reference.Finally, Yishui County Daling Village is selected as the example for the analysis of recyclingresource based on the project which is sent to first secretary of the working group to help thevillage in Yishui by Provincial Department of Finance of Shandong. The results show that remarkable success is received in the energy-saving aspect after taking full advantage of therelated technology in design. It has not only recycled the scrap generated in the constructionprocess, reduced the energy consumption, but also has created obvious economic benefits.The design and construction of rural housing is a long-term process, and the livingrequirements of villagers can be improved only based on the principle of energy-saving andrelated theoretical knowledge, and the orderly development of the village can be ensured byreducing the consumption of resources.
