As the main barrier of defense anti-ship missiles, the ships deck armor plays a more and more important role to the protection of surface ships. With the development of anti-ship missiles technology,more and more people pay with great attention to study the protection the ships armor. In this paper, in order to study the ability of deck protection to anti-ship missile, experiments and numerical simulation methods are adopted to simulate the process of missile confrontation with ship deck.In this paper, simulating missiles is designed according to the parameters of most advanced anti-ship missile technology. For the intensity of simulating missiles, it is checked respectively by ANSYS numerical simulation and experiments. In numerical simulation, a quarter model of deck missiles, whose mesh grids are divided with grid tools in ANSYS, is established to simulate for less calculation time. At the same time, through the gun tests under actual conditions to verify the simulation play enough emission intensity.According to characteristics of deck structures of warships, three decks of different structures are designed. To simulate the confrontation process against the ship deck, armor-piercing process is designed in actual test, acquiring test speed, important data on destruction of deck and the warhead. Meanwhile, using ANSYS/ls-dyna software, process of simulating missiles hitting three decks with different structure are simulated. In numerical simulation, the warheads and deck are gridded with hexahedron mesh of high quality,then to obtain a more accurate calculation results,the output key is modified in K file,Finally, calculation results are analyzed by post-processing software LS-PREPOST to provide optimize advice to the design of warship decks. Three kinds of structure is obtained by experiment and numerical simulation, deck to simulate the residual velocity, direction of impact, to optimize the design of ship deck proposed the rationalization proposal.
