With the acceleration of urbanization process in our country, the internal demand of urban rail transit is increasingly growing. Rail transit of many metropolises will enter a relatively complete network construction and operation stage. According to the actual development demands of the city, planning urban rail transit rationally will improve the network accessibility, and thus improve the attractiveness of rail transit, so the traffic problems of city can be solved effectively, and make the development of rail transit to a more scientific way.This article summarizes the basic conception of accessibility and common measurement, then by analyzing the advantages and disadvantages, scope, application areas of various measure methods, comparatively analyzes that topology measurement is most suitable to the rail transit network accessibility. The main parameters of Space Syntax can measure the overall efficiency of the space network system, and evaluate topology and accessibility of urban rail transit network.Based on the theory of Space Syntax, the paper analyses accessibility evaluation parameter of immediate, perspective and optimized perspective plan network for Zhengzhou metro using UCL Depthmap software, then contrasts and analyzes accessibility indicators.Space Syntax can describe rail transit network accessibility and structural performance quantitatively according the accessibility analysis of Zhengzhou. The method is more suitable for the comparison and evaluation of different network planning under the same background. The variables can be used as one of the indicators to elect network planning. Meanwhile we should also use the method combined with other network planning considerations rationally, and research it intensively.The proposition of rail transit network accessibility hopes that we can rethink and relocate the network planning, and contribute to the rational planning of rail transit network.
