Rail transit is the backbone of providing passenger transportation services in cities. It is used by many cities to solve traffic congestion problems. Its accessibility and capacity have a great impact on the status of urban transportation and will have a huge impact on the overall development of the city.Urban planning, land development, transportation planning and management must consider the impact of rail transit.Scientific evaluation of the accessibility of urban rail transit, analysis of the attractiveness of rail transit stations is conducive to the orderly construction, rational planning and structural optimization of urban rail transit, improving accessibility and traffic capacity, and effectively alleviating urban traffic congestion. In this paper, based on the analysis of the concept of accessibility, the characteristics of traffic accessibility, influencing factors and measurement models,by combing the concept of spatial syntax, segmentation model, morphological variables and their applications, the geometric and topological network characteristics of urban rail transit are integrated.According to the three levels of subway lines, road sections, and stations, select the connection value, depth value, overall integration degree and local integration degree in the spatial syntax as the accessibility analysis indicators, from macro to micro to develop rail traffic based on spatial syntax accessibility evaluation. At the same time, the service time of subway stations reflected in the operation schedule of the first and last trains of the subway is considered, and the evaluation of the station’s space-time accessibility based on the analysis of service areas is carried out as a useful supplement to the application evaluation of accessibility.Taking Nanjing rail transit as the research object, the axis access analysis, line segment analysis, convex space segmentation and service area analysis models were used to evaluate the accessibility of Nanjing subway operation lines, construction and operation lines and planned lines. The number of transfers, the distance between stations, and the time spent on transfers were considered. The results show that the accessibility of the Nanjing subway operation line for one transfer is the best.As the number of stations increases, the potential of the road section to become a destination is increasing. The potential of the road segment at the center of the line network increases significantly, and the potential of the road segment at the end of the line network also increases, but the increase is relatively small. The accessibility of the stations on Line 1 and the transfer stations is better than that of ordinary stations, and the accessibility of stations on the intercity line is generally partial low.The analysis results of site’s spatial and temporal reachability show that urban rail transit accessibility evaluation based on space syntax is feasible.Through comparative analysis of the accessibility of lines under construction and planned lines,it is proposed to add key regional lines and adjust line construction timing recommendations.
