With a new upsurge of green buildings and the formulation of Evaluation standard forgreen building (GB/T50378—2006), designing of green building is supposed to follow manyrules concerning about water saving and water resources utilization, and many key measuresmust be been applied for general engineering purposes.In this paper, based on water and drainage system designing of an actual super high-risecomprehensive office building, centering on the rules and demand of water saving and waterresources utilization in Evaluation standard for green building in Guangdong(DBJ/T15-83-2011) and in order to get two-star standard of China green building, after taking acomprehensive analysis of climatic feature and some other influencing factors of Guangzhouarea, corresponding technical measures for water saving and water resource utilization inbuilding water supply and drainage system have been proposed and studied.The key design points of water supply and drainage in this green building project include:(1) variable frequency altering-speed system of supplying water;(2) suitable choice of watersaving sanitation provisions;(3) solar hot water supply technology;(4) vacuum drainagetechnology;(5) the same-floor drainage technology,(6) collection and recycling technique ofrainwater and trickling irrigation——one of the high-efficient irrigation methods, etc. It laidemphasis on solar hot water supply and recycling technique of rainwater which are the keytechnologies of green building. Through this study, it offers some feasible designingparameters and some good experiences for water supply and drainage designing in greenbuilding project and of course has a certain application value in actual engineering.
