Due to the characteristics of large-scale, long duration, highinvestment and complex technology, water supply project have to facesome unpredictable factors. It is very important to the project manager ofscientific identify the risk factors, rational analysis the risk factors andobtaining suitable risk management measures. If we can take suitablemeasures before the risks occurrence, the risks will be reduced and therisk loss will be lighten.This paper discusses the risk management of Guangang ecologicalamusement park water supply project. In the risk identification process,from the perspective of risk sources, the risks are divided intoenvironmental risk, technology risk, resource risk, management risk andfinancial risk. Then we establish the risk structure model and the risks list.In the risk analysis and assessment process, we analysis the probability ofmajor risks.Then we use the method of AHP to calculating the riskfactors integrated weights. According to the factors’ weights, the risksdegree level be determined. We can see that by the factors’ integratedweights, technical and managerial risks are the main risks of this project.And these two risk factors affecting the quality, schedule, finance andsecurity of the project. So we combine the actual situation of Guangangecological amusement park water supply project, proposed project’s riskresponse measures from the aspects of quality, schedule, finance andsecurity. Studies suggest that, for the Guangang ecological amusementpark water supply project, the main risk response measures shouldinclude the following aspects: establish risk response list, improve thequality assurance system, carry out an effective schedule management,strengthen the economic and financial risk control, improve the security measures and strengthen the construction management during the rainyand snow season.This research can increase initiative of project management, reduce thepassive response to the project risks. And it will promote the smoothimplementation of the water supply project. The paper has accumulateddata and information about water supply project risk, to other watersupply project risk management, it can also play a reference.
