The overall scheme design which is the technical design of mechanical productsjob design and document the basis of design is the key to the mechanical product designand the project design quality directly influence the performance and quality of theproducts.With the rapid development of science and technology, product functionalrequirements and complexity are increasing, what’s more, speed is updating. However,the design of the product, especially mechanical product scheme design means ragged,couldn’t keep up with the needs of the development of era.In this paper, we study knowledge evolutionary algorithms in the overall scheme ofmulti-level characteristics of mechanical product design system and the application ofsolving the problem of mechanical product overall scheme design. Based on theanalysis of multi-level structure characteristics, on the basis of mechanical products isput forward knowledge evolution genetic algorithm which is based on the multi-levelstructure. The knowledge evolution algorithm coding and fitness function and thechoice of operation, the design of the mutation and crossover operation process areelaborated in detail, and knowledge evolution algorithm is combined with mechanicalproducts overall scheme design, geared to the needs of multi-level structure mechanicalproducts design the overall scheme design of the model of knowledge evolutionalgorithm. Then on the basis of geared to the needs of multi-level structure ofmechanical products overall scheme design of knowledge evolution algorithm designmodel, we use Visual C++6.0programming software and SQLServer2000databasesoftware development of the digital model of knowledge evolution algorithm validationsystem based on knowledge evolution and multi-level structure of mechanical productdesign system as a whole. Verified by digital model validation system, multi-levelstructure knowledge evolution algorithm design model is in the correctness of thedesign, and verification results conform to the expected design requirements; Throughthe multi-level structure of mechanical products based on knowledge evolution systemoverall scheme design, in the case of CNC lathe overall scheme design, with the thepractical application verification of multi-level structure knowledge evolutionalgorithm, design results are with text output and3D visualization graphic results intwo ways. Through the system running, the multi-level structure of mechanical products based on knowledge evolution better completed the overall scheme design system of nclathe overall scheme design.
