The Project Management Maturity Research On The Railway Project Schedule Management

Project management maturity models has a huge boost on improving the organizational project management capacity, after more than20years of development, although some results had been achieved, but the research of our country is still in its initial stages, especially the project management maturity assessment research on the railway engineering is yet to come. Be introduced to the fields of railway construction, study on the railway project schedule management will benefit the railway enterprise project management from a strategic perspective.The schedule management of railway project is the research object of this paper, in the digestion and absorption of the domestic and foreign research and application of project management maturity model based on combining theoretical research and empirical research methods, combined with the present situation of China’s railway project schedule management, Constructed schedule management maturity evaluation model and system, and proposed railway grey comprehensive evaluation method of project schedule management maturity.First, this paper introduced the domestic and foreign project management maturity research results, elaborated railway project schedule management connotation, significance and research progress, analyzed the China’s current situation of the schedule management of railway project.Second, introduced concepts, characteristics and types of project management maturity, companied and analyzed several typical project management maturity model, noted the role of project management maturity model to schedule management, laying the foundation for constructing the project management maturity model for the railway engineering schedule management.Finally, based on the present situation of China’s railway project schedule management, based on the research results, guided by the theory of project management maturity model, build schedule management maturity assessment model for railway engineering project, through specific case studies on the model of operability and usability.
