Applying optimum design skill on the technology of building structure when make thehouse structure design will get the high quality and inexpensive result. In this way, we canboth own a beautiful and functional house and save a lot of money. The owner’s biggest hopeis to minimize the recent investment without damage the long-term benefit of buildingstructure. In the meanwhile, the reliability of building structure and scientific rationalityshould be guaranteed. Using the optimum design method on the cost of construction projectwill reduce3%-35%of the whole cost compare with the traditional design. When achieve thegoal of optimum design technology, we can make use of characteristic of materials reasonably.On the same time, we can also coordinate the element inside the building and own the degreeof security up to building code. On the other side, this method can bring a reasonable decisionaiming at conceptual design of the whole building project. The optimization design is aeffective way to achieve the applicability economy and security of building design.The purpose of optimum design on structure is not doing the banausic job according tothe bottom line of code and calculate result, but also make the sufficient use of all materials.Confronting the situation that may influence the main point or key point of the structureperformance and can’t be analysed accurately or fit the facts, we can take measures toreinforce it.This article uses structure analyze software Ansys and calculate structure PKPMcoordinately to make the optimum design on project instance. Modeling the fact situation anddeveloping optimum calculate by Ansys then obtain the optimum result. The result containsoptimum section of component and optimum reinforcement.This article combines project instance. And it discusses the situation that regard the plateas the flange of beam. In this way the plate will contribute to the flexural capacity of beamsupport. When the beam support contains multiple rows of steel, we can do some adjustmentabout steel. We can rearrange the position of steel and redesign the section of beam thenanalyze the new beam to get the detail economy rate.
