Because of its good seismic performance, high industrialization, the framestructure is widely used. This paper is specific to a six-story food co., LTD. in HandanQuzhou county, the finite element software ANSYS is used for its optimizationanalysis, and useful results are obtained. Specific analysis process is as follow:The structure design software PKPM is used for simulating of the office building,and related parameters is extracted from the SATWE computing results, such as: axialcompression ratio, period ratio, displacement ratio, shear weight ratio, the ratio ofrigidity-to-gravity, stiffness ratio, interlayer displacement angle and so on, comparedto the current design code and verify the rationality of the various parameters.The finite element analysis software ANSYS, the reasonable structure size whichanalyzed by PKPM were adopted to conduct the initial model for optimization design,the section size of beam and column was taken as design variable, the bearingcapacity, interlayer displacement angle of the structure were taken as constraintconditions, the minimum cost of the building materials was taken as the target, APDLlanguage was used to write the finite element model of the structure, the analysisprogram and the structure optimization program for optimizing the structure. After37optimization iterations, the optimization results are as follows: the section size ofbeam and column was reduced, the structure was more reasonable, less materialconsumption.PKPM and optimized component size were adopted to establish the structuralanalysis model to validate the rationality and economy of the optimized scheme.After optimizing design of the structure, the total steel decreases by10.48%, theconcrete amount decreased by5.75%, the material consumption saves7.32%thanbefore, indicated that the optimization scheme is reasonable and economical. Thenumerical analysis and optimization design based on the engineering examples isfully compatible with the requirements of related structure design specification, Theanalysis and optimization method for the model can be applied to the structure design,and provide some reference for the optimization of reinforced concrete structures andother related structures.
