With the continuous improvement of train speed, the traditional train operation control system which used the ground signal as is main body has been unable to meet the needs of train safety and operation, so to300km/h and above high-speed railway we use CTCS-3(Chinese Train Control System Level3) Train Control System. It’s a typical hybrid system, the normal operation of the system is affected by the acceleration, speed, distance, time, etc. continuous variables, but also controlled by the brake level, operation mode, radio messages, etc. discrete variables. Due to the complexity of the system, in the past the discrete and continuous parts were often separated studied, which ignores the interaction between the two, so the description of the system is not accurate.In this paper we start from the complexity of the train control system and puts forward hierarchical modeling of complexity system, then as a guide the hybrid modeling method Simulink/Stateflow is introduced to the train control system, we using Simulink hierarchical description continuous characteristic and the Stateflow hierarchy description of discrete features of the train control system, we not only established the hybrid model of two train track but also simulated the two train track in different conditions, specific work is reflected in the following aspects.In this paper first we analyzed the system characteristics of CTCS-3Train Control System, studied the hybrid modeling method Simulink/Stateflow:then started from the complexity of the train control system, hierarchical modeling is proposed, the system can be divided into system layer, scene layer, subsystem layer and functional layer; then take two train track as an example we abstract the subsystem and its interactive information flow of the scene, and in turn on-board computer model (VC). RBC system model, CBI system model. Driver model, transponder model. SDU model are builded. especially mainly studied VC and RBC model; finally in Matlab simulation environment, we repeatedly simulate and analyze the different MA transmission strategy. different initial speed, temporary speed limit and emergency stop, and the simulation shows that:first, the ahead train clearing block MA updates is better than MA periodic updates; second, in addition to deliberately train emergency braking will not trigger in normal running, the train always keep a safe distance and can satisfy the function of collision avoidance, verified the effectiveness of the train over-speed protection. Through the analysis of this paper we can know that the hybrid modeling method Simulink/Stateflow can well solve the mixed model of train control system, the method is intuitive, simple, visual and to be a new method to research for train control system.
