ABSTRACT:For electrified railway, power supply capacity of tractive power supply system is an important factor influencing route through capacity, but up to now our country has no standard method to evaluate the power supply ability of existing facilities.This paper takes Shenshuo railway as the research background, detailed the main work content and evaluation methods of power supply capability evaluation. The method presented in this paper also has a great significanc for other types of electrified railway, and provides the necessary reference for future related work. The method introduced in this paper:through the practical field test for the whole line, we can get the basic dat of the main electric parameters; then take supply arms as the research object, by analysis, calculation, modeling, simulation, program design and so on, we can find the restrictive factors of power supply capability and size of the through capacity. Aimed at problems, this paper put forward reasonable suggestions.This paper firstly analyzes the main factors affect the ability of the power supply, mainly includes:external power source, traction transformer, reactive power compens-sation device, traction network and others. Combining actual conditions compared the electrical performance of SS4B and HXD2electric locomotive.Considering the different characteristics of various factors, as well as the actual situation of Shenshuo railway, this paper made the measure plan. The measure content in the plan is:all of the traction substations, the AT posts, section posts, and the trains of different marshalling. This part of the chapter statistics the data obtained from tests and draws RMS and power characteristic curve.Then according to the measure results, analyzed power supply capacity of Shenshuo railway from three aspects:traction transformer, catenary voltage and ampacity. On this basis the paper calculated the carrying capacity of restrictive factors. The paper puts forward a method to estimate and can be used for transformer capacity and traction network carrying capacity checking Using Trans software we calculated impedance-distance curve of all power supply arms. The author compiled a program named train arrangement1.0using LabVIEW. This software can be used to calculate the catenary voltage.Finally, aimed at the question of catenary voltage is low, the paper puts forward the reasonable technical countermeasures, and provide reference for the expansion and reconstruction of the future.
