| The small watersheds in hilly areas in southern China were usually underdeveloped areas because of the lack of transportation and the seasonal shortage of water resource. In recent years, the thriving tourism and hospitality in hilly areas contributes to local economic development. However, it also caused water pollution and exacerbated water shortage. In this paper, Dali Village Shanchuan Township Anji County was selected as the study area. The regional water environment quality condition and the distribution of time and space had been detailed investigated. The balance between water supply and water demand had been fully analyzed. A feasible sustainable utilization of water resource had been found out in the small watersheds in Dali Village. This method, which could reduce the emission of water pollutants and increase the supply of recycled water, had been welcomely and successfully used in the herb garden area in Dali Village. This mode of sustainable utilization of water resource for small watersheds in hilly areas in southern China maybe explore a new way of harmonious and sustainable development of the economy, resource and environment, which has a popularized significance. |
