With the continuous development of national economic construction and standard of living, the number of motor vehicles is mounting sharply, resulting in parking problems. As is not that long for China to enter the automobile era, there are lots of technological disadvantages in the management field.This thesis raises a design scheme of the parking lot controller based on the technology of RFID after conducting some researches on mainstream domestic controllers and comparing the pros and cons of various recognition technologies.With the utilization of RFID, every entry of charge would be verified and counted by the computer, thus eradicating the mistakes and cheating may be caused by manual operation. One card corresponded to one car and data served, the safety of parked vehicles is ensured.The relevant information of the owner is on file in the database, so it would be easy to reissue and process in case the card is missing. The safety and reliability of the system would be effectively improved in the condition when image contrast devices are equipped.In this thesis, the CPU is Samsung S3C2440, which has high speed, low power consumption and fair price.The design of the whole system is divided into two main controllers, one for the parking entrance and the other for the parking exit.The main control module contains the camera module, RFID module, timing module, voice module, an induction coil and a radio.The induction coil is responsible for signal detection, camera for the collection and collation, voice module provides operating tips, timing module captures the entry moment, and RFID module performs data writes and reads.Either the entrance or the exit controller is connected to an external wireless radio, which transmits important data, such as the entry time and the information of the car and the card, to the database for easy management.Careful work of manufacturing and debugging has been done shortly after the hardware and software design is completed. Debugging results show that the various technical indicators are correct and the system performs stably. This system above has the main functions as it should, and is satisfying.
