Five officials located in Meilan district of Haikou and QiongShan district border, it is the oldest of the Hainan garden. Five Ancestral Temple is the most ancient classic garden architecture in Hainan, and it has the largest establishment scale and the most abundant historical relics. It is the birthplace of Hainan culture, it is also an outstanding landscape work, to be able to inherit traditional temple garden building characteristics of continental. Five Ancestral Temple in inherited Hainan local characteristics and cultural elements of art creation, on the basis of the further integration of the Chinese traditional ancient temple garden features, no matter being analyzed from the perspective of garden art, or dug in the level of cultural connotation, is very representative and have research value. In the garden space, architectural layout, landscape composition, such as plants and shrubs, function setting on the treatment to a certain extent, it reflects the construction characteristics of the ancient temple garden in Hainan..In this paper, through the ancient temple garden related texts and Hainan Five Ancestral Temple literature and research, makes a deep and system research about the historical evolution, the botanical garden culture, the garden art, the spatial pattern, the landscape elements, the building style, the decoration style, the rocks, the plants and shrubs etc. The paper summarizes Hainan Five Ancestral Temple gardening art, and put forward the Chinese civilization and the Hainan local culture embodied in Five Ancestral Temple gardening ideas blend. On the landscape the Temple is carried out inheritance and development of history on the longitudinal, and is carried out on the cross cultural denotation. And it has the theory of adjusting measures to local conditions, keeping pace with The Times, rich Relegated official cultural spirit in the landscape features. In the process of investigation, using the analysis method and the basic principle of modern landscape design, thus enriching the modern landscape design ideas and concepts in Hainan, promote a better understanding of the people to the ancient temple of Hainan landscape.In the field of investigation and analysis, found that there are many problems in Hainan Five Ancestral Temple landscape development, such as unitary road system cannot meet the needs of modern tourism activities. The author according to these situation, combined with traditional Chinese ancient temple garden optimization idea, Hainan Five Ancestral Temple own garden art culture characteristic and the particularity of hainan local landscape optimization, for Hainan Five Ancestral Temple landscape development, put forward a more appropriate optimization principles and goals, as well as the specific landscape optimization measures, and put forward the optimized design about its functional partition and traffic organization system part.Based on Hainan Five Ancestral Temple landscape art level research enriched the research contents of landscape art, as well as supplement to studies of traditional Chinese ancient temple garden landscape, at the same time, on the basis of theoretical research, the suggestions of Hainan Five Ancestral Temple landscape development optimization for the local landscape and other similar region of the ancient temple landscape optimization development also has certain reference value.
