Application Of AHP In Construction Bidding

Construction bidding is the construction of an object transaction between the tender and the bidder,which is actually a Market competition.Since China adopted the bidding way, the government and relevant departments attach great importance to it, and use legal means to regulate the bidding system.On the tender side,the purpose of the tender is to be able to have more choices,by choosing to achieve their desired objectives;On the bidder side,the main purpose of joining tender is to obtain the contract rights and earnings.when evaluation, tender how to merit admission from a number of bidder? Bidder How to select the most suitable project bidding from multiple projects?These two questions about making choice are worth of the two sides of the bidding attaching great importance.To solve these two problems,considering one single factor to do decision is totally wrong, need to consider many factors which are able to influence the outcome,so as to make a comprehensive evaluation for multiple options.Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP) is a method in comprehensive evaluation field,which has broad psychology base, its application in bidding areas can provide some reference value for tender and bidder when making choice.Firstly, this article makes a detailed elaboration about the the basic theoretical knowledge and the model of AHP, analyzes its advantages and disadvantages, and makes a detailed study in the basic principles and steps of two ways about improvement of AHP (interval AHP and fuzzy AHP), and summarizes the advantages and disadvantages of them.Secondly,to make a new improvements about AHP, makes a combination between AHP and Glmethod which was proposed by professor Guo Yajun, the new improvement would make the computing of AHP more convenient. Finally, in the different perspective of tender and bidder,applies the new AHP based on G1in the actual project background of intelligent-building-system’s evaluation and project selection,constructs evaluation index system of intelligent building systems and the project selection index system and makes final decisions.
