Along with our country speed up the pace of reform and opening up, China’s construction industry has achieved rapid development in the past thirty years, the level of construction project management enhances unceasingly, this made the theory and method of project management innovate constantly. As the core content of the project parties concerned, the project construction cost and schedule exists throughout the whole phase of project implementation, also involves the core interests of the various project participants.In this thesis, combining with example overseas construction project implementation, the theory of earned value management is introduced in the project cost, schedule management field, based on analysis of main parameters, we can find out quantitatively schedule execution, cost execution, then conclude the matters and improvment measures are proposed to solve practical engineering problems and to improve project management level.The basic idea of this article is that first, decomposethe example project work breakdown structure, draw the project schedule plan according to the overall construction plan and work logical relationship. By decomposition of itemized bill of quantities and cost budget, calculate the cost of the sectional works, combined with the construction start and end time of each component project, distribute the planned cost to each time period. Then, we can obtain BCWS by calculation. In actual implementation of the project,we can calculate ACWP and BCWP according to the project actual progress and actual cost, after that draw a horizontal axis for the cost, the longitudinal axis for the time-"S" curve. And then, calculate the deviation parameter SV, SPI, CV, CPI, according to the results of the parameters, we can obtain the project schedule and cost of implementation and bias condition. Last, based on this analyze the causes of the divergence, and explore the measures of the divergence of its response to the project schedule and cost, in order to achieve the purpose of project control. In addition, the thesislu also introduces another two methods of deviation analysis, crossing figure and table method for the analysis of cost and schedule deviation. Through the earned value management applicating in the example project, on how the earned value management is better and more systematically applied to project management, this thesis puts forward some thinking point in the hope of earned value method is more and more widely used in project management.The main purpose of this article is to in-depth analysis of project cost and schedule management through the theory of earned value management, reasonablly and effectivly to apply modern project management scientific on project management,and to summarize the successful experience of project implementation, with expecting of improving the level of project management, exploring the management method in accordance with modern management science for construction enterprises.
