With the rapid growth of social economy, new technologies and service model have been emerged. Passengers are no longer satisfied with "go up" travel goals, and have the increasingly high demand for train service. It is necessary to innovate the service pattern and service technology which can promote the rapid development of railway in China to meet passengers’ demand,improve passenger service quality and implement the railway passenger service concept of "people-oriented"In recent years, Chinese smartphone market maintains rapid growth, while in the third quarter of2013; Android smartphone market has reached59%. So there is a great value of the research of the train service management system which is based on Android smartphone. In this thesis, the intelligent train service management system was based on the Android platform. The data communication between client and server or between client and client is realized through WLAN.In this thesis, the main work was as below:Firstly, the demand of train passenger service system was analyzed. According to the demand of mobile user, the function demand of the system was analyzed, then the system design goals and basic functions were determined, and the feasibility analysis was conducted, which laid the theoretical function for the system. Secondly, detailed design of the intelligent management of train service system was proposed, including the design of communication network, overall structures, software structures and every sub-module. Thirdly, according to the demands of the canonical database design, the demands of system database was analyzed, the conceptual design and logical design of system were developed, and then the protection for the security and data consistency was analyzed and designed with the integrity of the system database. Lastly, the functions of the system were realized. The client functions were implemented by Eclipse, and the server functions were realized in the Visual Studio functionality. Then, the test of system functions was achieved to use two or more Android smartphone, a wireless router and a PC to meet the needs of passenger train service system.
