| In today’s society, with people’s awareness of safety, the ship fields are taking more and more attention on the safety of the ship running. Recently, IMO made more specific provisions in the safe operation of ship equipments, and added some new requirements, which means we must strength and improve the function of the ship equipments in the safe operation system further. To ensure the ship’s safe operation, on the one hand, we should make sure the good quality of the ship’s equipments; on the other hand, we should detect the failures of the ship timely and resolve them. Throughout the previous major ship accidents, the human factors accounted for more than80%, the main reason is the engineers can’t timely detect the problem in the ship’s equipments operation, so it’s impossible to completely eliminate accidents just by engineers. But it can reduce the accidents greatly by monitoring the status of ship’s equipments with current growing computer automation、intelligent technology to make the engineers know the situation timely to take measures.This paper mainly introduces ship’s main air compressor monitoring system, it’s mainly consists of the hardware design of main air compressor monitoring system and the software design. The hardware design is finished by the Altium Designer Summer09, it’s simple to use and its function is powerful, it can meet the requirement of the system design. The hardware circuit mainly contains Power module、Communication module、Datadisplay module、Control module、Message collection module and other assisted module. In this system, we use the STM32as the main control chip, it’s more powerful and running faster than the51, and it can meet the system requirement.We finish the Boiler system software design by the MDK Keil with C. The function of the software contains normal start and stop of the Boiler、fault monitoring and alarm、parameter setting and display and so on, the hardware and software are combined together to finish the system monitoring. |
