With the rapid development of the knowledge economy’s era and the innovation education concept, designing of education building is no longer just pursuing More or less type teaching buildings. It has become increasingly concentrating on the requirements of education concept and teaching mode. Learning space is the material carrier of teaching behavior, which influences the actual operation of teaching behavior and the final effect. And learning behavior, as the content of a learning space, would also affect the distribution patterns and the forms of learning space. The principal part of the building is space. Its shape should satisfy not only the building’s specific functional requirements, but also the user’s activity principles. The space effect and requirement of innovative education concept mainly perform in the form of space. Therefore, learning spaces adapting to the changes in education concept can train the integrated talent required in our times.This paper, according to the current disadvantages of learning space in public school buildings, single and inflexible classroom space, lack of public space for communication and so on, under the research of Independence Study Theory in Constructivism, Website Study Theory in Connectivism and Group Innovation Space Theory, teases out the impact of related factors on learning space in campus. Taking these effects as orientation, combining with related concept, it researches the mode of public teaching school building space from three aspects, single learning space, learning space unit and sharing subject’s space. Then it sums up the learning space satisfying the progress of education. Finally, taking actual cases for examples, this paper discusses the practical application of the learning space. It is hoped to meet the expectations of education concept progress in learning space design, and also provide a certain reference in design practice of teaching buildings.
