Research On The Status And Developing Strategy Of The Rice Production Mechanization In Wenzhou

Agricultural mechanization is one of the most important components and one of the main symbols of agricultural modernization. The agricultural modernization won’t be achieved without the agricultural mechanization. The objectives of the agricultural mechanization include developing the agricultural production, increasing the farmers’ income for emancipating them from the heavy manual labor, improving the farmers’life quality, flourishing the rural economy, and promoting the comprehensive development of our society. The mechanization of grain production is always the top priority in the development of agricultural mechanization; moreover, the mechanization of rice production is the main direction of grain production mechanization.As a most important grain production, rice production relates to the economic development and social stability, which is a very important strategic position in our food security. Compared with wheat and corn, the mechanization level of rice production is not high. Therein, the mechanization level of the rice transplanting is only20%, which becomes the main factor restricting the promotion of grain production. Promotion of mechanization of rice production is an urgent need for increasing the rice production capacity and ensuring the food security, maintaining the rice production stability and increasing the farmers’income, as well as developing the modern agriculture and promoting the construction of a new socialism country.This paper summarizes four course of rice production mechanization development, analyses the development status and level of mechanization of rice production in Wenzhou. focusing on various aspects of the rice production, the social service system, the marketing promotion teams of agricultural mechanization, and the investment of agricultural mechanization. In this paper, different problems in the development of rice production mechanization are explained in detail, which include the irrational structure of agricultural machines, the uneven development of agricultural mechanization, the low cultural quality of employees, the inconsistence of relevant policies, the low level of land management. Aiming at the present situation and constrain factors, some suggestions for promoting the mechanization of rice production are proposed, learning the experience of other countries for reference. It includes raising the level of agricultural operations, strengthening the social service system, improving the level of public services, strengthening technical training to improve the employees’skill level, implementing the agricultural mechanization support policies, improving the level of farm machinery and equipment, improving the rural land transfer mechanism, and increasing the level of large-scale operation.
