Endometritis is a common disease of postpartum cows, and it’s also a factor cause infertility of cows. The incidence of endometritis is increasing recent years and caused heavy economic losses in farm gradually. To identify the distribution pattern of endometritis pathogens of cows in southern China and to offer scientific reference data on praction of treating cows’ endometritis.73chronic endometritis cows were selected from10large scale dairy farms in southern China. Samples were collected from uterine discharge by rectal examination, separated and cultivated bacteria of endometritis, and types and distribution characteristics of bacteria were identified by gram stain and16SrRNA.16kinds of the most widely used clinical antibiotic drugs were used to determine the drug sensitivity of each bacterial strain separated from different regions. The results are as follows:1. The differences of pathogenic bacteria colony count in the four regions171different bacterias were isolated from the uterine discharge from73cows, which were diagnosed endometritis on the basis of clinical manifestation. No significant difference was observed in the average number bacterial of colonies in each sample among all research region among Zhongyuan region, Huazhong region, Huanan region and Huandong region (p>0.05).2. The types and distribution characteristics of Endometritis in the four regionsBy using selective medium and16SrRNA methods,6kinds of bacteria were isolated from the four regions. Escherichia coli, Bacillus cereus, Staphylococcus aureus and Pseudomonas aeruginosa were the common bacteria detected in the all-region. There was no significant differences among the four regions of the detection rates of Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus and Pseudomonas aeruginosa (p>0.05). There was no significant difference in all region of other kind of bacteria (p>0.05), however, Staphylococcus epidermidis was only detected in Huanan, Huadong and Zhongyuan, while Salmonella was only detected Huazhong, Huadong and Zhongyuan, and Proteusbacillus was only detected in Huanan, Huadong and Huazhong.3. The antimicrobial susceptibility testing of pathogen bacteria in four regionThe results of main pathogenic bacteria sensitivity of drugs tested by bacteriostatic ring showed that Escherichia coli was more sensitive on levofloxacin, doxycycline, florfenicol, gentamicin, kanamycin, streptomycin, cephalothin Ⅴ and ciprofloxacin. Staphylococcus aureus was more sensitive to levofloxacin, cephalothin Ⅴ, gentamicin, erythromycin, vancomycin and ciprofloxacin. Pseudomonas aeruginosa was more sensitive to levofloxacin, florfneicol, ciprofloxacin, gentamycin, and enrofloxacin. Salmonella was more sensitivie to florfneicol, gentamicin, chloramphenicol, erythromycin, ciprofloxacin, neomycin and streptomycin. Proteusbacillus has more sensitive on Levofloxacin, doxycycline, fluorine benzene nicol, ciprofloxacin, gentamycin, and enrofloxacin. Staphylococcus epidermidis was more sensitive to doxycycline, florfneicol, gentamicin, erythromycin, penicillin and streptomycin. They were presentesd different drug resistance to other antibiotics. Meanwhile, inhibition zones of the four kinds common pagthogenic bacteria in different regions had no significant differences (p>0.05).
