This research is based on the povenace trails and analysis about Toona planted in Nanning Forestry Science Graduate School, of which the seeds were collected from main Toona distribution areas, such as Jingxi, Wuming, Bama, Mashan, Guanyang, Zhaoping, Du’an, Yangshuo. The main method this research was taken is completely randomized block experiment design. The selection on buds quality for vegetable were tested in3replicates,30cells per community. The selection on timber yield were tested in5replicates,3cells per community. The result of this research are as follows:1. The result shows that it has significant positive correlation in Toon buds and each nutrition indicatior. The production of Toona and protein content, sugar content is positively correlated, while the production and free amino acid content is negatively correlated. It also shows that there are significant correlations among picking time, amount of buds, free amino acids, soluble sugar content, protein content, while there are significant negative correlations between picking time and Toon buds diameter.2. The quality of Toona buds is not only affected by the provenance of genetic factors, but also affected by different picking time. It shows that different provenace has extremely significant influences on the average buds amount, free amino acids, soluble sugar content and protein content. The dry weight ratio is significantly affected by provenances, but it has no significant influence on other indicatiors. The average Toona buds amount, length, yield, dry weight ratio, free amino acids, soluble sugar content, protein content, Vc content are significantly influenced by picking time.3. It has extremely significant differences in Toona material characters of tree height, diameter, and crown, besides, the DBH don’t show significant difference between the provenances. Diameter, height is extremely influenced by the age of Toona, but the age of Toona has no significant effect on the crown.4. There is a certain degree of variation among every measurement characters, so it will be improved with great potential. The provenance heritability values of the buds amount for and free amino acids, soluble sugar content, protein content, material characters of tree height are larger than0.8, which also shows a better genetic control.5. This research also create a regression equation which is between Toona buds production, length (x1) and the diameter (x3).The equation is listed as: y=2.555+0.910x1+3.671x3.6. It has significant positive correlation between diameter and crown in the early growth stage, and tree height positively correlated. Pearson shows:the ground diameter> crown> tree. It has provided reference for the early identification and prediction of good traits.7. The Toona for vegetable using is selected by complex index selection method, of which, the index includes buds amount, length, diameter, production, dry weight ratio, free amino acids, soluble sugar content, protein content. By taking the the main component analysis with the selection rate of20%, the result shows that optimal provenance90and20are excellent provenances for vegetable using in Guangxi. By making an early analysis of timber forest with composite selection method, the result shows that optimal provenance is60and80.
