Because of information technology, automation control technology constantly infiltration and application in facility agriculture, crop planting technology unceasing enhancement, agricultural development has been transformed gradually from traditional extensive agricultural to precision agriculture, represented by greenhouse. And greenhouse scale is expanding gradually. At the same time, it is also brought inconvenience on Greenhouse management, such as the monitoring of plant diseases and insect pests. Considering the vast number of greenhouses, in order to reduce operating costs, improve production efficiency, this paper proposes a remote wireless video monitoring system based on Android platform, the system mobility strong, easy to expand, people can never leave home can through the Internet web browsing greenhouse crop diseases and insect pests and other related information, achieve greenhouse distributed monitoring and concentrated management, at the same time, according to the video data collected people can respond in a timely manner.This paper use WIFI to connect to the Internet solves the greenhouse video monitoring system wiring complex effectively on this difficult problem, at the same time greatly reduce cost. First introduced JPEG compression technology of video surveillance system briefly, and design processes to realize video data compression; And understanding of the Android system deeply, compile and cutting the kernel, gain the resulting image file and successfully transplanted into Tiny210platform, and design and implementation camera driver and video acquisition program under the V4L2, application of WIFI module to realize wireless remote transmission of video data.The system uses Tiny210development board as hardware platform, ZC301p camera with500w HD pixel, complete image transmission with JPEG compression, video images is implemented using WIFI module which access to network and remote browsing collected images in the PC, and can be remote control parameters such as camera brightness from PC. Experimental results show that the wireless network video monitoring system based on Android implements video collection, compression and remote data transmission and display on wireless, to reach the expected aim.
