The beetle Anoplophora glabripennis is a multi-host stem-boring insects, which madethe broad-leaved species devastated. It is widely distributed in China’s provinces. We canfound its footprint at the green belt, shelterbelts, farmland, forest and other area. At thepresent, there have no effcetive methods and measures are able to control fully its outbreakin the international scope. The chemical communication between Anoplophoraglabripennis, the host-plant and the relevance of the different host-plants, the relationshipbetween male and female adult weren’t clear to clarify even now. In this thesis focus on theselect relationship between the major host-plants and the beetle, interlinkages of the majorhost-plants of beetle, the chemistry communication mechanisms for Anoplophoraglabripennis and host-plant in the natural diffusion, their chemical communication betweenmale and female, as well as the associated of longicorn’s EAD response for a chemicalsubstances of host plant and the trapping effect of the field test. Based on those researcheswe will development of more effective attractant-baited of A. glabripennis and improvedthe trap. The trial began in the spring of2011, filtering and trapping lures improvement fortwo consecutive years, the test selection in the coastal shelterbelt of Cixi, Zhejiang. Themain results are as follows:1. The gas volatiles extraction analysis result ofA. glabripennis major host plantSalix babylonica, Populus euramevicana, Melia azedarach, Koelreuteria integrifoliola,Firmiana simplex, Casuarinn equiestifolia, and that kinds of host plants extracted bydynamic headspace extraction method, eluted and analyzed by GC-MS to know that: allthe host plants have a variety of the chemical composition is same.(+)-α-pinene、D-camphor、dichlorobenzene and so on. At the same time, there are have themselves’specific chemical composition, such as the nonanal, perfluorotributylamin,5-methyl-2-Heptanamine only in willow;decahydro-4,8,8-trimethyl-9-methylene-1,4-Methanoazulene,Benzoic acid, butyl ester,Dibutyl phthalateonly in poplar; β-pinene,camphene only in Melia azedarach;2,3,4-trimethyl-Pentane,1,4-diethyl-Benzene, only in Casuarina.2. The choice of these host extraction ingredients by A.glabripennis adult By comparison, we can know that the bias of longicorn choose the fresh willow issignificantly higher than other test host plant volatiles. But in the comparison of plant’sextraction component, it clear trend in the willows extraction. So, we thought there shouldbe one or some kinds of components can attract its tending reaction.3. the preferences of feeding and spawning behavior ofA. glabripennis at hostThe results analysis showed that the beetles are feeding the Chinaberry at most in thesurrounding have no choice. And quantity of Casuarina, willow, K. integrifoliola forfeeding is descending order, and the discrepancy of Chinaberry and Casuarina is very small.At selected conditions, Chinaberry food consumption is far higher than several other hosts.Anoplophora glabripennis try spawning behavior in non-selective conditions there is littledifference, successful spawning is also a difference at0-3, while in the case of co-exist ourkinds of host, Anoplophora glabripennis spawning obviously tend to willow. The numberof successful spawning at willow is3-4times higher than other hosts.4. Detected by GC-EAD analysis and checked out several volatile components of hostare stimulating substances for A.glabripennisDetected by GC-EAD analysis, we got two kinds of reaction substances2-ethylene-1-hexanol and nonanal for A. glabripennis ultimately. These two pure substanceswill be brought and test it, and they does have some irritations to A. glabripennis.5. Effect of the substances which are measured by GC-EAD to attract A.glabripenniswere tested by field screeningIn the field trapping of A.glabripennis of the18treatments tested. There are threekinds of chemical substances have the attraction of A.glabripennis: nonanal,Geranylacetone, α-Phellandren. And nonanal is only in the willow detected by GC-MS, itis also the most effective lure of three substances.All in all, this study were great added the chemistry communication mechanisms ofA.glabripennis with host plants; explained the chemical common between the severalmajor host plants of longicorn; and expounded the chemical communication mechanismsof A.glabripennis male and female adult, and found out the most important substance ofhost plants attracting A.glabripennis. at the same time, we improved the field traps during all the experiments, which can lay the foundation of research and development for themore efficient lure, and made the possible of controlling and preventing the A.glabripennisvastly.
