As the advance of study on global climate change and its impacts, climate change impact on agricultural and the development of adaptation agriculturehave become a topic of society’s interest and concern. This paper devote to research onthe dynamic effect of droughts and floods during growth periods of main crops inYanting Country for the past52years.This paper based on the past52years (1961~2012) monthly precipitation data ofYanting Country to calculate the droughts and floods level during the growth periodsof four main crops in Yanting Country which include rice, wheat, corn and sweetpotato through Z index method. Then the author analyzed the dynamic of droughts andfloods of these four main crops. Regarding1980as a boundary, calculate the trendyield and meteorological yield of these four crops through linear regression analyzingmethod from two parts. Explore the dynamic effect of droughts and floods duringgrowth periods of these four main crops in Yanting Country by analyzing therelationship between the dynamic of droughts and floods in Yanting Country, themeteorological yield and the crops drop production rate. These following conclusions can be gotten through this paper.(1) Rice has themost abundant precipitation during its growth period for the past52years. Then itcomes to corn and sweet potato, wheat has the least.(2) Droughts and floods happenedfrequently during Yanting Country main crops growth periods for the past52years(1961~2012). The highest frequency of drought is rice(25.00%), followed bywheat(19.23%), sweet potato(19.23%) and corn(15.38%). The highest frequencyof flood is wheat (23.08%), and then it comes to rice (21.15%), and finally the corn(17.31%) and sweet potato (17.31%). In recent52years, the droughts and floodsfrequency of spring crops is higher than before.(3) The trends yield of four major crops in Yanting Country are gradual increasing, and the change of the meteorologicalyield began to intensify from the1980s. This is due to the change of the productionmethod and the development of the production technology.(4) In the latest52years(1961~2012), there existed a certain correlation between the drought and floodsdynamic and the production of the four major crops during the growth periods inYanting Country, and the impact on different crops of different drought and floodlevels was different. As for the spring crops, such as corn, drought made a greatinfluence on crop losses, however, for early spring crops, such as wheat, it’s flood thatdid so. Moreover, the more serious droughts and floods were, the more disadvantagesbrought for the growth of these four main crops for the tolerance to droughts andfloods of each crop was totally different. On the study, the following measures have been put forward to help YantingCounty to defense the bad impact of droughts and floods on crops: strengthening themonitoring and early warning of droughts and floods; adjusting and optimizing thecrop planting structure; strengthening the water conservancy infrastructureconstruction; strengthening the research of the impact of extreme droughts and floods...
