Objective:By observing the effect of Bangci electro-acupuncture therapy on the levels of the serum of NO ET-1and LDH in plasma of rats, to explore the mechanism of pressure ulcer healing with Bangci electro-acupuncture therapy. Methods:According to the theory of skin of ischemia reperfusion, the model rats.which was molded by pressing the magnet on the dorsal skin of rats that was implanted pieces of was induced the formation of stage Ⅱ-Ⅲ pressure ulcer.80healthy and clean SD rats were divided into normal group, model group, acupuncture group and electro-acupuncture group on random number method (20rats in each group). All treated groups were treated by Bangci acupuncture, and the electro-acupuncture group connected the6805-B electric acupuncture apparatus. The current intensity was1mA, the frequency was1Hz, time of retaining needles was30minutes,1times per day. The acupuncture group was treated in the same way as Bangci acupuncture group, but no electricity. And the model group was not given any treatment.Three groups of rats of operated received the same basic nursing. To observe the levels of the serum of NO, ET-1and LDH in plasma of rats on1d,3d,7d,14d four different time points.Results:(1) Compared with the model group, the change of NO and ET-1in the serum of acupuncture group and electro-acupuncture group rats with pressure ulcer were statistical significance (P<0.05).(2) Compared with the model group, the change of NO and ET-1in serum of electro-acupuncture group and acupuncture group rats were significant, and to illustrate electro-acupuncture can improve the NO content in serum of rats obviously and decrease the ET-1content in serum observably, the difference between them was significant (P<0.05). The two had obvious antagonistic regulation.(3) Compared with model group, the activity of plasmic LDH of acupuncture group and electro-acupuncture group were significant difference (P<0.05).(4) Compared the four different time points(1d,3d,7d,14d) of serum NO and ET-l,the changes of NO and ET-1content was maximal after14days treatment,14days group compared with the other three time groups were significant difference (P<0.05); Compared the four different time points change of LDH electro-acupuncture group, LDH in serum reached the highest value after7days treatment. Compared7d with14d of the activity of plasmic LDH were significant difference (P<0.05);Compared7d with1d,3d, the results showed no significant difference (P>0.05).Conclusions:(1) Electro-acupuncture therapy and acupuncture can significantly increase the NO content in serum of pressure ulcer rats and decrease the ET-1of that, but the effect of Electro-acupuncture therapy is better. Electro-acupuncture can adjust the NO and ET-1content in serum of pressure ulcer rats, can also improve blood circulation and heal the wound.(2) Electro-acupuncture therapy can reduce inflammatory reaction and help promote pressure ulcer wound healing according to restrain the acitivity of LDH. This may be one of the mechanism of pressure ulcer healing with lateral electro-acupuncturetherapy.
