Research On The Employability Of Art Graduate Students In He Bei North University

Since the massification of higher education, the problems of college students’employability became more and more concerned by society. The employment of collegegraduates has become a strategic core issue in China. Recently, the Party CentralCommittee regards the students’ employability as one of the most important issues ofreforming higher education and making full employment of college graduates.Currently, college art graduates rises increasingly. Consequently, the problem ofemployment becomes more and more serious. Except for the social factors which causeunemployment, graduates lacking employability also can not be ignored. In this thesis, Allthe subjects came from four years graduates of He Bei North University, their majorconcerned music, dance, art, art design, art education, and music education. Concerningthe art graduates professional characteristics, particularity, and their individualpersonalities, this thesis applied the methods of literature study, investigation, comparativestudy and multidisciplinary study. This thesis focuses on four aspects. First, it is literaturereview at home and abroad. It also gives the research object, research method，researchframework and the main innovative points. Second, it shows the connotation of thegraduates’ employability, and its elements and characteristics. Third, the author analysesthe current employment situation and finds out its causes. Fourth, the author gives outsome suggestions and strategies for the improvement of art graduate students’employability.On one had, based on the analysis of the connotation of college students’employability, its elements and characteristics, this thesis puts the college art students as aspecial group; analyses the present employment situation and the influence factors of theart students’ employability. It also explores some strategies to improving the students’employability, which is very helpful for students’ successful employment. On the otherhand, from the aspect of theoretical, this thesis analyses the current art education situation,its improvement and theoretical innovation objectively under the China’s market-orientedeconomy system. All these enrich the education concept and process which will provide more reasonable and effective theoretical basis and practical guidance.
