Graphic advertising has been the most effective and commonly used tool for a business or brand in the product promotion process. However, because of media development, the space of publishing advertising is also expanding. Compared to graphic advertisement, TV advertising and online advertising has their unique advantages. As the spread of modern information in the society, advertising is in everywhere, and the audience has had a conflict psychology of advertising. If we want to make graphic advertising continuing to develop, only make the performance space more diversified, and the choice of the elements in the ad more innovative, so as to attract the audience’s attention. The terrorist element, with a strong power to shock, is a new element of advertising, which are increasingly being used in advertising, and also made a good advertising effect. This paper is focus on the issues of terrorist elements in combination with the graphic ads. By collecting large mounts of data, the article make the theoretical analysis and specific examples combined with, and conducts in-depth study the application of terrorist elements in graphic design.First, the paper from the three aspects of the terrorist elements, such as the understanding of terrorism, the definition of terrorist elements and the characteristics of terrorist elements outlined, and then understanding and grasping the terrorist elements in the overall,in the end,finding the meeting point with the advertising creative:the old elements, new combination. Second, the article makes a comprehensive analysis of the advertising creativity and the combination of terrorist elements, from three aspects such as the terrorist elements as a creative way to review the history, and the application reality of the terrorist elements in modern graphic design, and the feasibility analysis of terrorist elements about how to use in graphic design.Third, the article analyze the application of the terrorist elements, which discussed mainly from four aspects:the performance way of the graphic ads; how to use effectively in graphic ads; which principles should be paid attention to in use; the role of advertising in the plane and propagation effects. Through the comprehensive analysis of these four areas, we should know how to use the terrorist elements clearly. Finally, the article shows that the use of terrorist elements should be targeted, not blindly use, and then the author puts forward thinking of terrorist elements using in advertising.Terrorist element is a sensitive element. General advertising rarely recommends the use of advertising, and even suggest firmly not using. This paper focuses on terrorist elements in the design of graphic, and has initiated the use of detail, from explaining the concept to the theory of track, then to the instance of the analysis. In the final, from the concept of integrated marketing communication, the paper makes a thinking point "terrorist elements using in graphic ads combined with the advertising campaign will be more effective". All the contents Interlock and gradually deepened. We can understand the terrorist elements from a new perspective, and then explore the value of terrorist elements in the advertising, which is the practical significance in this paper.
