Along with the exchanges between our country and the French national become more and more frequent, the social demand for French talents becomes more and more strong,but there are many problems in the French professional teaching of colleges and universities.The thesis studies this problem. Mainly through the methods of questionnaire survey.interview and observation to present the actuality of French teaching in colleges and universities, then found the problems in French teaching problems, analyze the reasons of the problem, and proposes the solution strategy. The thesis consists of four Parts:the first part is introduction, propose the problems and through the document summary about French professional teaching, I summarize the theories and results of different researchers. And the study purpose, the value of this thesis,the thinking and methods of this thesis are also in this Part. In the second part, I will analysis the actuality of French teaching in Colleges and universities and discuss the problems which exist in the process. The text includes three parts. The first part will show the actuality of French teaching in colleges and universities in our country. In this part, firstly, the research approach is designed in detail, then, the status result of the investigation to the French professional student feedback and satisfaction on teaching present situation, the interview results of the observations on the French teachers and the results of observations on French teaching. Finally, the present situation of French teaching was summarized. The content of the second part is the main problems of French teaching in colleges and universities summed up from the questionnaire, interview and observation results in the first chapter. This paper summarizes six problems:the students’ interest in learning French hard enduring, students’ language communication ability is insufficient; teaching content is single, culture teaching and extracurricular activities is deficient; the teaching method and means are single. Then the paper analyzes the reason of theses problems from three aspects:colleges and universities, teachers, students. In the third part, the study put forward the effective suggestions to improve French teaching and the comprehensive quality of students majoring in French from the following four aspects:improves teacher own comprehensive quality, arrange bettre the teaching content, enrich the teaching methods and means and improve the teaching evaluation system.
