From the angle of internal structure, this paper focus on the complement of "ba" sentence, which is based on the research results of others. Through analyzing the complement of "ba" sentence in Chinese textbooks and the materials of foreign students’ errors, considering errors among using this structure and influence factors, this paper might provide some advises to textbooks’ writing and teaching.Considering the research results of "ba" sentence and the National Syllabus of Graded Standard and Grammar for Chinese Proficiency, the paper firstly defines the complement of "ba" sentence in Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language, and then divides it into five categories from the point of structure and grammar:Resultant Complements, Directional Complements, Quantity Complement, Preposition Complement and "de" Complements. According to the five structures, analyzing the606sentences from each level Chinese textbooks and the proportion of each type, we make test questionnaires, to testing the service condition of the complement of "ba" sentence among the preliminary, the secondary and high level foreign students in CCNU.Through the analysis of these errors we found, from the angle of "ba" sentence’ several structures, different structures’ errors rate are different, some structures’ errors are inversely proportional to foreign students with their Chinese levels, some are not related to students’ Chinese level negatively, but change as curve; from the angle of foreign students’errors, they are as follows:the wrong usage of potential complement, the confusion of semantic orientation, different complements in mixture, directional complement misuse and so on. With the influence of foreign students’ native language, and the complexity of "ba" sentence, students easily make mistakes because of the difference between "Language acquisition device"(LAD) and arrangement sequence of the content. In allusion to these, we offered some teaching strategies from the angle of these structures, Semantics and sequence of the content, hoping that grasps the directional complement usage to the foreign student to have the help.
