Contrastive analysis and error analysis play important roles in teaching of Chinese as a second language. As one of the most important complex sentences, cause-effect complex sentence appears to be most frequent used. Although researchers have drawn numbers of studies in cause-effect complex sentence, but particularly involving Chinese and Indonesian language of cause-effect complex sentence contrastive analysis and error analysis are still beyond research scope. Hence, based on this probable field, writer aim to draw analysis of Chinese and Indonesian language of cause-effect complex sentence.First, writer sort out existing cause-effect complex sentence research results of previous researchers. Next, draw a simple analysis of cause-effect complex sentence contrastive analysis, examine intermediate and advanced stage of Indonesian students in cause-effect complex sentence acquisition through questionnaires, concluding error types and error causes. Through these stages of analysis, writer compose particular teaching strategies, provide references for teaching Chinese as a second language.
