The thesis aims at studying ’Gabyeopda’ and ’Qing’ which are widely used in daily life. And the thesis is a study as a guide of the general theory and method of Contrastive linguistics to contrast ’Gabyeopda’ to ’Qing’ from meaning and syntactic on the basis of predecessor’s studies. As a result of various cultural backgrounds and the different cognition pattern as well as the different language types, the two languages present the similarities and differences in their manifestation. This thesis is divided into four chapters. Chapter one is the introduction. The second chapter is the contrast of the meaning. Chapter three is the contrast of the sentence structure. The fourth chapter is the conclusion.Chapter one is the introduction, has proposed the goal, significance, prior study, scope, method and data source of the research.The second chapter is the contrast of the meaning. According to representative dictionaries of China and Korea listed the original meaning of the ’Gabyeopda ’and ’Qing’ separately and contrasted them. And then listed the derived meaning of the ’Gabyeopda’ and ’Qing’ in the dictionaries separately and analyzed them. According to the sememe of noun or verb that the ’Gabyeopda’ and ’Qing’ could combine with, evolved their derived meaning. Last, undertook comparative to both with examples. And considered the fact that even the same meaning which is not absolutely the same, as well as the factors that derived meaning of ’Qing’ is more abstract and general than the meaning of ’Gabyeopda’ concluded their similarities and differences.The third chapter analyzed the syntactic functions of ’Gabyeopda’ and ’Qing’ from syntactic view firstly. And contrasted the case that be modified by adverbs of degree secondly. Both ’Gabyeopda’ and ’Qing’ can serve as predicate, attribute and adverbial in the sentence.’Qing’ can serve as predicate, attribute and adverbial etc in the sentence directly or combining with constructional particles and little need for morphological change. But when ’Gabyeopda’ serve as sentence elements, it must make morphological change by auxiliary and sentence-ending honorific. Both can be modified by adverbs of degree. The adverbs of degree must precede the ’Gabyeopda’, and when ’Qing’ is modified by adverbs of degree, the position of adverbs of degree is more flexible.The fourth chapter is the conclusion of this thesis.This thesis contrasted the ’Gabyeopda’ to ’Qing’ from the meaning and syntactic and hope to providing help for language learner in South Korea and in China.
