The Research Of Five Kinds Of Quasi-affixes In Modern Chinese New Words

The research object of this paper is based on appeared90’s of the new words of five quasi-affixes which have similar class. They are divided into five kinds:quasi-affixes of person, quasi-affixes of appellation, derived from natural phenomena of quasi-affixes, quasi-affixes of space, quasi-affixes of zero degree. This paper will give out its semantic approach and mechanism of formation by observing, interpreting and analyzing the process of five kinds of quasi-affixes. The approach including:shedding of sememe, semantic falsified, used and new meanings of old words. Formation includes the mechanism of metaphor, metonymy and extension mechanism. This paper will discriminate the quasi-affix in similar semantic through the group of "brother" and "male","sister" and "female" etc. Then make a conclusion that these kinds of quasi-affixes all have differences on emotional color and additional meaning. Based on the above research, this paper will summarize the semantic approach and mechanism formation of quasi-affixes, and also predict the developed trend quasi-affixes in the future. This paper is divided into four chapters:The first chapter:Introduction. In this part, it mainly discusses the purpose and meaning of this object, and research overview and research methods. By reviewing the previous studies, this research founds that there are still many aspects of quasi-affixes in the air, and have to be deepened and perfected. At the same time, the research of quasi-affixes, can greatly enrich the modern Chinese new words, and can help to know the causes of semantic features of quasi-affixes. Also it will have very important practical value of the Chinese vocabulary teaching and culture teaching. This paper makes a semantic study which adopted to the corpus collection, description and interpretation, analysis and so on, mechanism and mode, metaphor and metonymy mechanism method.The second chapter:In this part, it mainly discusses the forming process of quasi-affixes in the new words of modern Chinese, and makes a discrimination of individual quasi-affixes in similar semantic. A large number of new words have poured in our life since the1990’s. This paper divides these new quasi-affixes into five kinds. As the corpus of this article, it collects newspapers, network other media content. For these corpora for observation, analysis, and interpretation, to further interpret these quasi-affixes semantic changes. At the same time, in order to explain the quasi-affixes word-formation differences, this paper will make a discrimination of the semantic similarity quasi-affixes.The third chapter:This part mainly discusses the semantic formation of the pathways and mechanisms of the five kinds of quasi-affixes, including: semantic falsified, semantic generalization, to borrow new meanings of old words, metaphor, metonymy and the extension mechanism. Through these theories, it summaries the formation process of semantic of the quasi-affixes, and make a further acknowledgement of quasi-affixes.The fourth chapter:Discuss the research process of this paper. This part will talk about the future developed trend and research institute produced value of such the quasi-affixes, and give the feasibility of the method.
