In modern Chinese,there are some noun Affixes(Quasi-affixes)combined with the Root can make their specific meaning abstract,and form abstract nouns.And the structural characteristics of productivity and the semantic characteristics of generalization derived the abstract nouns form an independent word group system in the modern Chinese abstract noun system.Owing to the structural and semantic features,there are certain teaching laws of the abstract nouns to follow.Therefore,this paper starts from the semantic and does research on noun Affix(Quasi-affix)denoting abstract semantic meaning,and trying to explore the teaching rules,teaching strategies and methods of the abstract nouns.Attempting to change the difficult teaching situation of abstract nouns through research,and improve the relevance and effectiveness of its teaching.This paper contains six parts.Firstly,Introduce background and significance of the research,discusses the current situation of research,explain the research content and research methods.Secondly,summarize the definition and scope of noun Affix(Quasi-affix)denoting abstract semantic meaning,and analyze their characteristics from three angles.Third,inspect the situation of the included,annotations and interpretation of the noun Affix(Quasi-affix)denoting abstract semantic meaning and their derived abstract nouns in the "Outline of Grammar","Outline of Word " and middle and high stage textbooks for Chinese as a Foreign Language.Then,study and analyzes the using situation of abstract nouns in Dynamic composition corpus of Beijing Language and Culture University,summarizes the types of errors,and analyzes the causes of errors.And after that,exploring the teaching strategies and methods of derived abstract nouns based on research result of the outline,textbooks and errors.Finally,summarize the full text,and put forward the prospect of research work.
